DocuPotion aims to do one thing really well: Make it easy for teams to generate documents from their data.
I first encountered how weirdly difficult it can be to generate professional-looking documents when building my first startup in 2020. Over the years, I tried a number of solutions and built a couple of my own. I've seen hundreds of people, in businesses small and large, generate documents and have the same frustrations I did. DocuPotion is the result of all those experiences.

The first version of PDF Potion (later renamed DocuPotion) is released. The name is questionable and the logo looks like it's from the 90s, but people immediately find it useful.
A major milestone. The PDF Potion API is released, meaning our document generation/automation tools can be integrated with pretty much any tool.
PDF Potion is renamed to DocuPotion. We're not good at names.
The DocuPotion Airtable integration is released, allowing Airtable users to generate documents directly via Airtable Automations.
