Yes. The DocuPotion plugin works in both frontend and backend workflows, including API workflows on a list. That means you can bulk-issue certificates for an entire cohort, schedule end-of-course runs, or trigger generation from any external event you wire into Bubble.
Yes. Schedule an API workflow on a list of recipients and Bubble will run the Create PDF from Template plugin action once per record, issuing a personalised certificate for each. You can set this to run in a recurring event so it fires automatically at the end of every cohort.
Once you've designed your reusable certificate template in the DocuPotion editor, you'll need to pass through your data as JSON in the Create PDF from Template action. See this section of the docs for details.
Yes. Store a unique value on the Bubble record (a generated number, a slug, or the record's own unique id) and pass it through to a merge field like {{certificateId}}. Every certificate you generate then carries a distinct, traceable identifier.
Yes. The Create PDF from Template action returns base64 that you can use to upload the PDF to your Bubble app. You'll then be returned a link that you can use to save your certificate PDF to your Bubble database field. You can also store the PDF in your own S3 bucket via DocuPotion's S3 integration (Core plans and above only).
Yes. The DocuPotion plugin comes with a Download PDF action that you can use to let users download their certificates. You can also use the Bubble 'open an external website' action to navigate the user to the PDF URL.
